Marcus Coleman arrived at the aircraft shortly afterward. Richard immediately recognized his name. Marcus wasn’t simply a wealthy passenger’s father; he was a senior executive involved in the airline’s international operations and corporate security oversight. He looked at Zara first, checking that she was unharmed, before turning toward Richard.
“Mr. Bennett, my daughter simply wanted the seat printed on her ticket,” Marcus explained. Richard attempted to apologize, claiming he hadn’t known Zara’s identity. Marcus calmly replied that respect shouldn’t depend on someone’s family background. Then the operations officer revealed that Richard’s company had already attracted attention for questionable requests involving confidential passenger information.
