Tina Turner’s son tragically passes away

Ike Turner Jr., Son of Music Legends, Dies at 67

Ike Turner Jr., the son of iconic musicians Tina and Ike Turner, passed away on October 4, 2025, in a Los Angeles hospital, just one day after his 67th birthday. His death marks another loss for the legendary Turner family.

His cousin Jacqueline Bullock confirmed the news, revealing that Ike Jr. died from kidney failure following years of heart issues and a recent stroke in September. Despite medical efforts, his health continued to decline in the weeks before his passing.

Born into one of music’s most influential families, Ike Jr. grew up surrounded by rhythm, soul, and fame. He inherited his parents’ musical talent, working in studios and occasionally performing with both his father and mother during different stages of his career.

His life, however, was not without challenges. The Turner family’s complex history—marked by success, struggle, and strained relationships—often placed Ike Jr. in the public eye. Yet those close to him described him as kind, talented, and quietly resilient, carving out his own space away from the spotlight.

His death follows that of his mother, Tina Turner, who died in 2023 at age 83 after a long battle with kidney disease. In 2017, Tina received a kidney transplant from her husband, Erwin Bach, which prolonged her life and brought renewed awareness to organ health.

The Turner legacy remains one of musical greatness and personal endurance. Both Tina and Ike Turner reshaped the sound of rock and soul, leaving behind timeless hits and unforgettable performances.

For fans, Ike Jr.’s passing is a somber reminder of the fragility of life behind fame. Tributes continue to pour in, celebrating a man who carried both the talent and the turbulent legacy of his legendary parents.

May he rest in peace beside the music that defined his family’s story.
