His firm had never been authorized to access it. I watched his expression change as he realized that the woman he had spent two dinners quietly judging had known far more than he expected.
My father noticed the silence. “What is that?” he asked. I turned the phone toward Sienna too, because she deserved to see it. Then I said the sentence I had been preparing for weeks. “Reyes Anderton Capital accessed Ledgerly’s private environment thirty-six times over twenty-one days. The platform they called their promising compliance investment tonight is mine. I have the access logs, my attorney has the logs, and Colton knew all of it.” Nobody at the table moved.
