Queen Camilla’s side-eye at Princess Kate fuels fresh royal rift speculation

US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump visited Britain on Wednesday, but a viral moment from their meeting with the Royal Family has sparked new speculation of tension behind palace walls.

The clip shows Queen Camilla appearing to lose patience with her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, during a conversation with Melania Trump. Camilla and Melania were speaking when Kate stepped in, a move the queen seemed to dislike.

Viewers pointed out Camilla glancing away several times before seemingly signaling Kate to step aside. The Princess of Wales hesitated, then quietly walked away to rejoin Prince William and others nearby.

The video, viewed more than 3.1 million times on X, was posted by an account supportive of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The caption read, “Ok you can go now, the grown ups need to talk 😂 Cammy is no joke.”

Social media reactions quickly poured in. One user wrote, “Queen Camilla ejected Kate from her conversation with Melania Trump.” Another joked, “Camilla: You’re stealing my shine. Grab your husband and go.”

Others highlighted Camilla’s frosty demeanor. “The ‘shoo’ heard round the world,” one user said. Another added, “She looked her dead in the face and went: ‘Piss off, Melania and I are talking here.’ Cold as ice.”

Many interpreted the exchange as a sign Camilla doesn’t warm to Kate. Some even called it “karma,” recalling Queen Elizabeth’s funeral when Meghan Markle was allegedly treated coldly by Kate and others.

One user summed it up: “Three years ago Kate was part of the ‘mean girls group’ who froze out Meghan. Now she knows how it feels to be on the outside.” The moment has reignited debates over royal family dynamics and lingering tensions.
