Trump Says He’s Intervening to Save Life Of Big-Name Conservative

President Donald Trump on Sunday confirmed that he is assisting “Dilbert” creator Scott Adams in obtaining treatment for prostate cancer. Adams publicly reached out to Trump the same day, asking for help after struggling to arrange treatment for a newly FDA-approved drug. “On Monday, I will ask President Trump, via X, to help save my life. He offered to help me if I needed it. I need it. As many of you know, I have metastasized prostate cancer,” Adams wrote. He said his healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, had approved his application for Pluvicto, a newly approved drug, but failed to schedule the IV treatment. Adams added that he is “declining fast” and hoped Trump could intervene to secure a treatment slot, giving him a “fighting chance” to extend his life. Trump responded by reposting Adams’s message and writing, “on it.”

Meanwhile, Trump on Saturday renewed attacks on Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), again invoking her Somali heritage and telling her to “go back,” a phrase he has used multiple times during his political career. Posting on Truth Social alongside a video of Omar speaking, Trump criticized her allegiance to her native country. Omar, born in Somalia, fled civil war at age 8, spent four years in a Kenyan refugee camp, and became a U.S. citizen in 2000. She has served in Congress since 2019 and remains a frequent critic of Trump. Conservative supporters amplified the post online, framing it as part of ongoing scrutiny over her congressional record and clashes with Republicans.

Omar has consistently dismissed Trump’s threats. Speaking Friday on “The Dean Obeidallah Show,” she called the deportation rhetoric “weird” and said she has no fear of losing citizenship. “I’m not the 8-year-old who escaped war anymore. I’m grown, my kids are grown. I could go live wherever I want if I wanted to,” she said. The latest controversy comes after calls last month for her removal from office and revocation of her citizenship, following her reposting of a video alleging atrocities in Palestine. Omar’s office has not yet responded to Trump’s latest remarks.
