Six days after giving birth, I was still recovering. My body hurt, I barely slept, and every few hours I was nursing Wren, changing her, or holding her against my chest. Then Roland came downstairs dressed for dinner and took my car keys. He said his mother was leaving for Savannah and Faye was hosting a family gathering.
