Hailey thought she had escaped her past problems, but a chance encounter at a grocery store brought it all flooding back. She saw a man who looked exactly like her late husband, George. “George? That’s you, right? But how is this possible? You… you died!” she exclaimed. George’s eyes flicked to the rearview mirror, meeting her gaze. “I know. I owe you that much, and I will tell you everything. Before that, I need to take you somewhere.” Hailey soon found herself in a life-threatening situation, kidnapped and held captive in a basement.

Hailey escaped, and after a car crash, she woke up in a hospital. Hailey lay back against her pillow, staring at the ceiling, thinking about the future and the long journey of healing ahead.
