My brother took the photograph on an ordinary afternoon when the sky above our town suddenly became unusually dramatic. He was driving home when he noticed a strange formation hanging above the rooftops. It looked enormous, dark around the edges, and strangely smooth in the center. He pulled over, took several pictures, and sent one to our family group chat with a simple message: “What is that?”

Within minutes, everyone had a different answer. My father thought it was some kind of storm cloud. My aunt insisted it looked like a flying object. My brother joked that we had finally discovered something worth making the news. I laughed too, until I opened the photograph myself.

The shape really was strange.

By that evening, my brother had posted the picture online. People began sharing it, zooming in, circling parts of the image, and arguing about what they believed they were seeing. Some claimed it was clearly an aircraft. Others insisted it was a rare atmospheric phenomenon.
