Maya quickly rescued it with a leaf and began searching for a safer solution. She remembered hearing that bees needed water not only for drinking but also to cool their hives and prepare food for their young. That afternoon, she found a shallow ceramic dish in the kitchen and poured a handful of colorful marbles inside.
She added water until the tops of the marbles remained dry. The next morning, Maya stepped outside and froze when she saw something unexpected beside the dish.
