The saturated lawn had become dangerously soft after days of heavy rain. Deep tire tracks crossed the grass, cutting through the flower beds Sheldon had damaged when he drove his SUV across my property. I was angry, but I knew retaliation would only create a bigger problem. Instead, I photographed every damaged area, measured the worst sections, and saved several copies of the security recordings.
