At twenty-six, I was proud to finally own my first home, but my happiness was quickly tested by Sheldon, the arrogant neighbor next door. He treated the entire street like his private kingdom, constantly criticizing my hedges, porch light, guests, and recycling habits. I stayed polite because I refused to become involved in pointless neighborhood drama. Unfortunately, Sheldon interpreted my patience as weakness. I walked into my front room with coffee and froze. Sheldon’s enormous black SUV was sitting directly in the center of my front lawn. When I confronted him, he dismissed the damage as “just a little grass” and smirked as though he had deliberately provoked me. I said nothing more. Instead, I returned inside and checked my security cameras. The footage showed Sheldon deliberately backing onto my property at 6:17 that morning.
