My Neighbor Borrowed My Backyard for a Birthday Party — By Morning He Was Gone and a Hidden Secret Buried Beneath My Lawn Was Exposed

The moment I walked through my back door, my overnight bag slipped from my hand. A massive rectangular hole had been dug straight through the middle of my backyard, surrounded by piles of fresh dirt, deep tire tracks, and crushed flower beds. My roses had vanished beneath the soil, the lavender was torn out, and my stone patio was covered in mud.
