Charlie Kirk’s wife addressed the nation with emotional video statement

The death of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, shocked the nation. The 31-year-old activist was fatally shot in the neck during a debate at Utah Valley University. He was rushed to a hospital but later pronounced dead. President Donald Trump announced the news on Truth Social, calling Kirk a “Legendary” figure and sending condolences to his wife, Erika, and family.

On September 11, the FBI revealed it had recovered the rifle linked to the assassination and released images of the suspect. The following day, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested in Utah. Shortly after, Erika Kirk addressed the nation in an emotional livestream from Turning Point USA’s Phoenix studio.

She thanked emergency responders, the White House, and Vice President JD Vance and his wife for their support in bringing her husband home. She also expressed gratitude to President Trump, crediting her husband with playing a crucial role in mobilizing voters for Trump and Republican candidates, particularly in Arizona.

Erika spoke of her husband’s devotion, recalling his love for America, nature, and the Chicago Cubs, but emphasized that above all, he loved his children and family. With tears, she described telling their three-year-old daughter that “Daddy is on a work trip with Jesus.”

She insisted her husband was targeted because he preached patriotism, faith, and God’s love. Turning her grief into determination, she vowed to continue his mission and strengthen Turning Point USA. Her words carried both sorrow and defiance, echoing like a call to action.

Quoting scripture before the tragedy, Erika had posted Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Her resolve left a powerful impression, as she promised that Charlie Kirk’s voice and wisdom would continue to resonate across the nation and beyond.
