Hidden Brothers

The accident changed everything in a single night. My parents were gone, my memories were shattered, and the faces from my early childhood faded into nothing. A kind couple adopted me after the court decided I needed stability, while my older brother, Daniel, was sent hundreds of miles away to live with another relative. I grew up believing I was an only child, never questioning the missing pieces of my past because I had no memories left to compare with the life I knew. Years later, a DNA test led me to a stranger who introduced himself as Daniel. He showed me faded photographs, hospital records, birthday cards, and a crayon drawing with our names written in childish handwriting. My heart pounded as forgotten fragments refused to return.
