Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Reportedly Split After 19 Years – Details

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s nearly two-decade marriage is reportedly under strain, with sources confirming the couple has been living apart since early summer 2025. News of their separation sparked a wave of disbelief and sadness across social media, as fans processed the idea that one of Hollywood’s most admired couples could be going their separate ways after 19 years together.

While neither Kidman nor Urban has officially confirmed the split, reports suggest the separation was initiated by Urban, who quietly moved out of their Nashville home. A source close to the couple stated that Kidman did not want the separation and has been working to keep the marriage intact, especially for the sake of their two daughters, now ages 14 and 17.

Speculation about tension in the relationship had circulated for months. Some fans pointed to Kidman’s recent on-screen roles—particularly in the film Baby Girl—as potential points of conflict. Others recalled an awkward July 2025 radio interview in which Urban abruptly ended a live segment after being asked about his wife’s intimate scenes with younger co-stars, fueling further rumors of behind-the-scenes friction.

Despite ongoing tension, Kidman acknowledged their anniversary on June 26 with a heartfelt social media post, featuring a black-and-white photo of the couple and the caption “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️.” Urban, however, made no mention of the occasion online, focusing instead on his music tour and award appearances.

The couple, who married in 2006, has long been admired for their red-carpet chemistry and supportive public image. Kidman had previously described Urban as her “deep, deep love” in a 2024 interview, which made news of the separation especially difficult for longtime fans.

As of now, no divorce filings have been made public. Supporters continue to hope for the family’s healing, with many expressing concern for the couple’s children amid the ongoing media attention.
