She revealed the devastating story behind the final photo ever taken of her little girl, captured just moments before her life was cut short.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"404\" data-end=\"678\">On\u00a0<strong data-start=\"407\" data-end=\"426\">October 7, 2022<\/strong>, Samantha and her husband attended a wedding while their children, Scarlett and her younger brother Henry, stayed with their grandmother,\u00a0<strong data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"574\">Jamie<\/strong>, in Oldtown, Idaho. That afternoon, Jamie took the kids for ice cream and a walk before heading home.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"944\">When they arrived back at the family\u2019s driveway, Scarlett asked to get out of her stroller to pick flowers. Jamie snapped a picture of the smiling little girl surrounded by nature\u2014a photo Samantha later discovered to be the very last image of her daughter alive.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"1197\">Moments later, tragedy struck.
