According to the survey, 67% of likely U.S. voters view \u201cArctic Frost\u201d as a serious scandal, and 43% describe it as \u201cvery serious.\u201d Only 26% said they did not find the controversy significant. These findings come as Republican members of Congress move to make Boasberg the first federal judge impeached since 2010. Historically, the House has impeached 15 federal judges, but only eight were removed by the Senate.<\/p>\n
House Republicans allege that Boasberg and Judge Beryl Howell signed non-disclosure orders shielding nearly 200 subpoenas issued under Special Counsel Jack Smith. The subpoenas reportedly targeted more than 430 Republican organizations, officials, and donors. Critics, including Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), have labeled the operation a political \u201cfishing expedition.\u201d Reps. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) and Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) have announced plans to draft impeachment articles against Boasberg, accusing him of \u201cweaponizing\u201d judicial authority. Rep.
