MacCallum noted that Clinton received a defensive briefing and was subject to strict standards for investigating information against her, while a lower bar was allegedly applied to the Trump investigation. Baier agreed, citing documents released by Senator Chuck Grassley and previous discussions with former FBI Director James Comey. He criticized FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, whose biased texts against Trump came to light, noting their involvement in multiple aspects of the Trump and Clinton investigations.
