We compared observations, examined the shadows, and tried to connect the unusual curves.<\/p>\n<p>Then I remembered an important trick used in many hidden-picture puzzles: sometimes the correct image appears when you stop looking for the object itself and start looking for its silhouette. I followed the outlines one final time, slowly connecting the shapes.
