He was rushed to a hospital in Salt Lake City with a severe brain injury.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"805\"><strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"583\">Initial Signs of Hope<\/strong><br data-start=\"583\" data-end=\"586\" \/>Doctors initially declared Levi brain dead, but his mother, Kallie Wright, shared brief moments of improvement that gave the family hope. \u201cLEVI AWARENESS!\u201d she posted on Facebook, describing her son as \u201creally tough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"1057\"><strong data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"833\">MRI Results Bring Pain<\/strong><br data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"836\" \/>That hope was soon tempered by difficult news. An MRI revealed little chance of recovery. \u201cIt\u2019s just pictures, but we are broken,\u201d Kallie wrote, adding that Levi\u2019s progress in the coming days would determine everything.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1376\"><strong data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1090\">Family\u2019s Agonizing Decision<\/strong><br data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1093\" \/>After days of prayer, sleepless nights, and consultations with neurologists, the Wrights faced the unthinkable. On June 2, Kallie shared that Levi had shown just enough to give them time to say goodbye, but ultimately they made the painful decision to remove him from life support.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1612\"><strong data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1401\">Passing and Tribute<\/strong><br data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1404\" \/>Family friend Mindy Sue Clark confirmed Levi\u2019s death the following day.
